What is plasma?
Generally speaking, the states of matter are divided into three types: solid, liquid, and gas. Plasma is called the "fourth state of matter". When energy is applied to a solid, it becomes a liquid, and then a gas. When high energy is applied to a gas, the electrons in the atoms separate and it becomes a "plasma" state. Plasma, a substance that is still unfamiliar to us, occupies 99.99% of the universe, and is used in many fields such as environment, fashion, agriculture and food, beauty, and health, and is an attractive substance.
Cold plasma, with a temperature of 35-40 degrees Celsius, temporarily "breaks" the lamellar structure in the epidermal barrier. Thus, for 10-12 hours, it makes this structure more loosely organized and more relaxed, during which time the skin becomes more permeable to hydrophilic substances. Afterwards, the epidermal barrier regains its tight structure. In cases where the epidermal barrier is broken for some reason, cold plasma can repair it. The destruction of the lamellar structure also creates a disinfection process, destroying bacteria and fungi, inflammatory cells and damaged cells. It also increases the epidermal permeability of the skin, which in turn increases the absorption rate of cosmetics by 24%.
Main functions:
Plasma has a strong bactericidal, disinfecting and calming effect on the skin.
Ionized plasma penetrates between skin cells and enhances the regeneration of the dermis.
Relieves inflammation, whitens, and enhances elasticity.
Promotes the metabolism of skin tissue and promotes blood circulation.
Temporarily increase the permeability of cell membranes and deliver active ingredients deep into the skin.
